Let every man make known what kind of government would command his respect, and that will be one step toward obtaining it.

He might as well rent out his office space in the Justice Center

Lewis Coomer is a thief
Story says Putnam County Circuit Court Clerk Coomer used cell phone to call cops after confronting burglary suspects while working at Judge Maddux's property during office hours

[But if he has a cell phone, why does he use his Justice Center office number -- and county employees -- to take calls on his private apartment rental business which he also operates during business hours?]

And we thought he was mowing Judge John Maddux's hay when he was screwing around

Putnam County Circuit Court Clerk Lewis Coomer appears to be engaging in "official misconduct" as defined by the State of Tennessee's General Manual for Clerks of Courts.

Circuit Court Clerk Lewis Coomer:
He lies.
He steals.
He cheats.
He rolls hay.
I can do anything I want.
Now, Judge John J. Maddux Jr. is getting his hay rolled by this public official on government time.
DA Gibson always lets him go.

Why?

Why do you pay taxes if the government doesn't stop its own judiciary from injustice? Taxpayers are forced to support a criminal enterprise that preys on them.

Putnam County Attorney Jeff Jones said he saw Coomer's ads on the Internet and is investigating. But the ads themselves are no criminal violation, Jones said.

Putnam County Criminal Court Clerk Lewis Coomer operates his apartment rental business from his Justice Center office. County employees take calls from his private customers. Should he be held accountable?

Coomer says:
I did not use my office to rent apartments.
